What makes this health site different?
This site is not about the promoting the next diet “fad” products, or “super foods” or “supplements” or “exercises.” The purpose of this site is to provide insight into what makes us fat. Once you understand the affect of inflammation and how hormones processes and store energy, then losing weight is simple and a guaranteed outcome of any diet.
Since the creator of AnAverageJoes is not a researcher or doctor, none of the information that AnAverageJoes presents is propriety. The site is based upon medical research from open sources. For this reason, everything on the site is free. What’s unique about this site is how the information is correlated to draw health conclusions different from those found in the mainstream health media. To quote Albert Einstein, “We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used to create them.”
If you find the information helpful or wrong then please let us know. If you would like to support the cause and help spread AnAverageJoe’s wellness message then consider making a [donation].
Is this information dangerous to my health?
Everyone is unique. A health benefit for one person, might not benefit another, in fact it just might be harmful. For this reason everyone is strongly encouraged on your quest for wellness to engage your health practitioner. For those of you who don’t have a doctor or can’t find one, you own the consequences of your actions. Anyone on medications or with a pre-existing medical condition is especially high risk and MUST consult their doctor.
WARNING – Radically changing your diet or embarking on a strenuous exercise plan CAN KILL YOU!
There is so much health related information published, how do I find the truth?
The health and diet industries work on FUD (fear, uncertainty and doubt). Why? Scared, confused people are more susceptible to suggestions. Health proponents and the so called digital media experts will ALWAYS quote research papers that support and prove their point of view while discrediting anyone who disagrees. The FUD often causes confusion on your quest for wellness. Remember all the so called expert’s research funding has to come from somewhere. The reality is that the majority of the funding is coming from exercise manufactures, or the supplement, food, pesticide and the pharmaceutical industries. By the very nature of the funding sources, the research results are biased to the outcome the funding source wants. You can combat this bias.
Be brave on your quest for wellness. Ultimately, you are your own best health advocate.
